List Of Telecommunication Companies In Pakistan [2021]

Different telecommunication companies operate in Pakistan and provide their services to the public. While some of these companies are well-known, others are less well-known. We have listed here a complete list of Pakistan’s telecommunication companies. We have also provided brief information about each company.

1.Jazz (previously Mobilink &Warid)
Jazz is the most well-named mobile network and internet provider in Pakistan with reliable and responsive services.

It was created by the merger between Mobilink, Warid_two we’ll get networks. Jazz, a network that is constantly growing in Pakistan with more than 63 million users, is called the “two we’ll know” network. It also offers postpaid and prepaid benefits services to its users.

Jazz is also a 4G+ LTE-A provider and has successfully completed its 5G trails with a speed of 1.5Gbps. Jazz’s responsive and superior customer service is a reason Jazz is gaining popularity day by day.

 

2.Telenor
Telenor (2G-3G/4G and 5G), one of the most important telecom companies in Pakistan with approximately 45 million subscribers, is Telenor (5G, 3G, and 4G). It was granted its license in 2005 and has enjoyed a great reputation ever since, no doubt due to its premium services.

Telenor offers data bundles at reasonable prices to its users. You can subscribe to daily, weekly, and monthly packages depending on your preference. Additionally, it has successfully passed the 5G service testing.

3.Zong:
Zong( 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G) is the first overseas mobile data network set up in Pakistan by China Mobile. It got its license from Millicom in 2008 to run GM’s networking all around Pakistan.

Zong is on the list of most comprehensive GMS providers with around 36 million active users.

Zong is the first Fiber-to-the-Home provider in Pakistan. However, the service is only available in certain Karachi areas.

4.Ufone
Ufone or Pak Telecom Mobile Limited is a GMS cellular network provider in Pakistan. Ufone ranks fourth among all mobile network companies, with 22 million subscribers. It offers coverage for 4G, 3G, and 2G networks.

 

Ufone continues to improve its level of service and compete with other companies.

5.SCOM (Azad Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan only):
Special Communications Organization (SCO) is a dominant network providing its services in the area of Azad Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan. These regions are home to almost 1.7 million people served by SCOM. It focuses primarily on providing 2G/3G, and 4G services with high-quality networking.

SNET is a name that allows users to access fixed-line wired Internet services. Its unique services are a draw for the Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan regions.

4.Wateen Telecom:
Wateen Telecom is a Lahore, Pakistan-based company with the largest fiber-optic network in the entire Pakistan. It offers satisfactory internet, voice, and enterprise solutions at an acceptable level.

Water also provides VSAT connections to areas that lack fiber network connectivity. It is considered a named telecom company because it connects more than 23 cities in Pakistan.

5.Wi-tribe

6.WorldCall
WorldCall is a Lahore, Pakistan-based telecom company with a motive to become Pakistan’s largest internet network. Salman Taseer founded it in 1996, and Omantel acquired it in 2008.

WorldCall employs a hybrid Fiber Coaxial Network in order to offer its customers durable and reliable network services. It provides broadband Internet, LDI, and cable TV as well as digital TVs.

It is still providing services in Pakistan’s major cities of Karachi and Lahore. The company continues to improve the quality of its services.

7.Telecard Ltd
Telecard is a fixed Telecom network services provider throughout Pakistan. It offers wholesale and retail telephone services as well as long-distance and international services. It also provides data communication services.

 

In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, it is conveying CDMA based wireless local loop network.
