Islamabad (30 October 2025) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised Turkey’s unwavering support for Pakistan, saying that Turkey stood “like a rock” with the nation during its conflict with India.
During his recent visit to Istanbul, PM Shehbaz highlighted the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey, built on trust, faith, and mutual respect. He expressed deep gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his consistent diplomatic and moral backing in times of regional tension.
Strong Bilateral Ties
The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan and Turkey share a strategic partnership that extends beyond politics—covering defense, trade, technology, and education. He noted that both nations have always supported each other on global platforms and will continue to strengthen cooperation.
“Turkey has always stood by Pakistan in every challenge. Our friendship is rooted in brotherhood and shared faith,” said PM Shehbaz.

President Erdoğan reaffirmed that Turkey will continue to support Pakistan in both good and difficult times, further solidifying the close ties between the two countries. The Turkish leader also appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
